Digital Footprint / Digital Citizenship
Digital Footprint is little pieces of information that tells about your self. It helps other people from other schools help to get to know you. It doesn't have your personal or private information, just things like your favorite sport, your favorite color, your favorite ice cream flavor, or maybe even your hair or eye color. Digital Footprint is 100% safe, if... you do what you what you are suppose to do and you follow directions.
Digital Citizenship is how you treat or respect others and their privacy. It shows how to be safe and not get into other peoples privacy. It helps to get to know people in a safe way. It helps to show how to be responsible and respect other people with manners.
Positive examples of Digital Citizenship would be using appropriate language and behavior, and not posting your or others private information. Another example is following directions and not harming others or their work. Having good manners and respect for other people is also a positive example.
Negative examples of Digital Citizenship would be using inappropriate language and behavior, and posting your or others private information. Another example would be not following directions and harming other people or their work. Having bad manners or being disrespectful to other people is also a negative example.
